Soca
Soca is a Trinidadian dance which is energetic and fun. You can
see it at any Caribbbean carnival.
Carnival or 'mas' is a festival which traditionally moves around the island
or streets, in order to share the party parade with everyone.

Samba
The Latin Experience! Dipping, sidestepping and shimmying, these
South American moves are expressive and spirited, and feature strongly
at carnival. Samba has its roots in Native American and African dance forms.

A taste of Bombay dreams!
A workshop that combines bhangra and Bollywood moves. It also includes an Indian Stick Dance or Bollywood Scarf Dance.
Choreography offered, with CD for performance if desired.

The workshops generally start with a warm-up,
teach a basic repertoire of moves, and can offer a short choreography. Alternatively the children may have an opportunity to get creative with the moves!
